Kickstart to our Infinitely Creative Year
It’s time for new things. I’m fully persuaded that 2018 is a seed year. In fact, a seed year is time for doing the work for the future. and taking actions that will allow you to prosper in the future. The continuing shifts in consumer behavior and technology advancements suggest that now is the time to prepare for the third decade of the 21st Century. 2020 is only a couple of years away.
Infinitely Creative is the corporate theme and driving purpose for 2018 and beyond. This corporate theme for Made Grand By Cam is borne out of my personal life experiences. For many, the previous year was marked by anxiety-inducing feelings from the global issues and discord to local craziness. People have done all kinds of legal and illegal/moral and immoral things to cope with situations that they can’t control or change. My coping mechanism has always been to be creative and productive. For 2018, the opportunity to produce new visual and immersive experiences that are rich with narrative depth has never been more clear. This is the epoch for creators to rise and reshape their world.
Creating the MADE GRAND Flywheel Effect
Infinitely Creative implies that there are no rules, boundaries, or taboo ideas. It’s not about being in a perpetual brainstorm. It’s about being radically creative and to produce avant-garde work of critical worth and commercial value regularly. Critical worth is important because recognition builds reputation and following—the essentials of building influence. Commercial value makes it tangible in real dollars and sense. As the old adage goes, “If it don’t make dollars, it’ don’t make sense.” Critical worth and commercial value form a virtuous cycle that allows more and greater work to be done—a flywheel effect for creativity.
It is this “flywheel effect” that is the hallmark and defining characteristic of the Infinitely Creative 2018.
In fact, you may have noticed that the Made Grand By Cam identity mark has been redesigned to reflect the permanence of this Infinitely Creative movement. The new MGXC brand mark embodies the spirit of the flywheel in its circular form.
While there’s more depth to the reasons for the rebranding, the theme for the infinite creativity is beating heart at the center.
