Professional Photographers of America Gets Made Grand!

MADEGRANDBYCAM™ is now a part of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA)! I’m thrilled to make this announcement.
Today, everyone with a camera calls themselves a photographer. That means over 5 million people, in the United States alone, considers themselves a photography enthusiast or hobbyist. That is absolutely fantastic. The more people being creative the better it is for our economy!
However, when making images is your business, you need to invest the time and resources into continued professional development. There is so much more to the craft of photography than pressing a button. Growing and exchanging ideas with a vibrant community of creative professionals and industry peers keeps you at the top of your game. I made the investment to join PPA to participate in the oldest professional creative community on the planet.

PPA is More Than Photography

I was immediately encouraged upon joining to see the efforts that PPA has put forth to protect the intellectual property (IP) of creative artists with the federal government. I invest heavily in the production of my creative content. Creative professionals don’t want their work misappropriated without legal recourse. Additionally, PPA provides a benchmark for clients seeking the creative services for studios like MADEGRANDBYCAM.
I’m looking forward to contributing and expanding the PPA community in North Texas and across the state.
I encourage students and professionals dedicated to the craft and science of making photographic art to consider joining a professional association like PPA. Don’t do trial and terror. The benefits far outweigh the costs of getting it wrong.
